Privacy policy

Short version: the apps do not track you, the website keeps almost nothing, and nothing is sold to anyone.

The apps (EveryPCMouse, EveryPCUpdate, EveryPCInfo, EveryPCCleaner, EveryPCBIOS, EveryPCRecover)

No account, no sign-in, no telemetry. The apps do not send usage data anywhere.
The apps connect to everypc.app only to check for their own updates. That request carries the app name and version, nothing about you.
If an app crashes, it can show you a report and a "Send report" button. Nothing is sent unless you click it. The report contains exactly the text you saw; personal data (user name, paths with your name) is removed on your PC before it is shown. Reports are stored for 180 days without IP address, cookie or any user id, and are used only to fix the bug.
EveryPCUpdate reads the list of installed programs on your PC to find updates. That list stays on your PC.

The website (everypc.app)

Hosting: Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, requested page) for a short time to run and protect the service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Your language choice and the treat game state are kept in your own browser (local storage). They never leave your device.
The "Your app ideas" form sends only what you type. The email field is optional and is used only to reply to you.
Treats for Peacy and business licenses are sold through a payment provider (to be named here before launch). The provider handles your payment data; we receive your email and what you bought, to deliver it and to show the name you chose on the treat board. We never see card numbers.

Cookies and ads

Right now the site sets no cookies of its own.
We plan to show a few ads (Google AdSense) to keep the apps free. Before any ad is shown, this page and a consent window will say exactly which cookies that involves, and you will be able to refuse personalised ads. Until then: no ad cookies.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be deleted, or object to processing. Write to the contact address above. We keep as little as possible, so the usual answer is "nothing, except the crash report you chose to send".

Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes. Big changes are announced on the main page.
